Royal Wedding in Newport?

Today marks two years since the Royal Wedding.  William and Kate's anniversary has us thinking - what would a Royal Wedding be like in Newport, Rhode Island?  

Would they have their ceremony in a church, on the beach or perhaps on a yacht over looking the harbor!  

Where would the reception be - in a mansion, a yacht club, or a lavish private estate.  Oh the possibilities are endless!  One is thing for sure Newport would provide the perfect location for a unforgettable Royal Wedding.

Boatyard Update: Heritage Launches and Gets Her Rig

Last week Heritage launched for her 43rd year of sailing!  Looking bright with her freshly varnished top sides, US 23 was put in the water in Salem, MA and then motored over to Marblehead, MA to get her mast.  Look at that new boom shine!  Next up?  The 12 hour delivery to her summer home of Newport, Rhode Island!  We can't wait to see her back on her mooring in the harbor.

Boatyard Update: Heritage Gets A New Boom!

 Heritage is getting ready for the season! 

Here are just a few pictures of our America's Cup 12 Meter contender, Heritage, getting a little love in the boatyard. Her new boom arrived last Thursday a top Captain Jeff's truck from Logan Airport. The massive boom tested the truck's suspension for sure!

Next up, about twenty coats of varnish to make our golden girl shine.  Then, all she needs is a bit of bottom paint and she will be ready to get wet!
