Boatyard Update: Heritage Launches and Gets Her Rig
Last week Heritage launched for her 43rd year of sailing! Looking bright with her freshly varnished top sides, US 23 was put in the water in Salem, MA and then motored over to Marblehead, MA to get her mast. Look at that new boom shine! Next up? The 12 hour delivery to her summer home of Newport, Rhode Island! We can't wait to see her back on her mooring in the harbor.
Stay tuned for pictures of her sister, Columbia, launching.

Where in the World is Crew Member Gus? Answer Revealed!
A question always on the mind of a 12 Meter Charters' sailor is, "What do I do in the off season?" Some head North and some follow the sailing weather South. This winter Heritage crew member Gus chose the latter and joined the team of 12 Metre Challenge in Saint Maarten. Gus refined and tuned his 12 Meter sailing skills while enjoying the Caribbean scenery.

Dolphins Racing Heritage!
Yesterday, during Heritage's first sail of October we had an unexpected race. Not your typical race against another sailboat, Heritage was racing dolphins!
While sailing north of the Newport Bridge in Narragansett Bay, Heritage was greeted by a school of dolphins. Check out these amazing pictures Captain Duncan took of Heritage sailing with the dolphins. Another UNFORGETTABLE day of 12 Meter sailing in Newport!
