Newport, RI - Marina of the Month JULY

Newport, Rhode Island, City-by-the-Sea has many fabulous marinas.  One of the perks of being a waterfront business in Newport is that we are able to dock our America's Cup 12 Meter Yachts at them all!  We thought we’d give you a glimpse of some of the views and amenities at these great marinas.  Whether you are visiting Newport with or without a boat, these Newport marinas offer more than just dockage!  This month let's check out the Newport Yachting Center.

 The Newport Yachting Center is located in the heart of downtown Newport and offers much more than just a place to dock your yacht!  This full service marina with over 2500 feet of dockage is also one of Newport’s premier event facilities.  From the Chowder Cook-Off to Newport’s International Boat Show, from festivals to concerts, the Yachting Center is host to some of Newport’s most famous events.  In fact, we just heard the Indigo Girls playing there last week!  In the winter this area is turned into an outdoor, family ice skating rink.

Bringing a group to Newport?  The Yachting Center offers a waterfront private event facility that is perfect for a dockside wedding or corporate clambake.  Their stunning views are sure to WOW your guests.
