Newport, Rhode Island, “City-by-the-Sea” has many fabulous marinas.  One of the perks of being a waterfront business in Newport is being able to dock our America's Cup, 12 Meter Yachts at them all!  We thought we’d give you a glimpse of some of the views and amenities at these great marinas.  Whether you are visiting Newport with or without a boat, these Newport marinas offer more than just dockage!  This month let's check out the Goat Island Marina. 

Goat Island Marina is located on an island oasis in the heart of Newport Harbor.  Goat Island has a long history which includes home to a military fort during the American Revolution, torpedo manufacturing for the US Navy, and more recently serving as host to the Tall Ships Festival and world-class sailing regattas.  If you are looking to experience the "City-By-The-Sea" in a quiet relaxing atmosphere then the Goat Island Marina is the perfect Newport dock for you.

Goat Island is also home to some of Newport’s hidden gems.  The Regatta Place is a fabulous event facility off the beaten path in Newport.  Imagine your next corporate event, family outing, or wedding ceremony on the docks overlooking luxurious yachts and Newport Harbor.  Spectacular!

 The Newport Yachting Center is located in the heart of downtown Newport and offers much more than just a place to dock your yacht!  This full service marina with over 2500 feet of dockage is also one of Newport’s premier event facilities.  From the Chowder Cook-Off to Newport’s International Boat Show, from festivals to concerts, the Yachting Center is host to some of Newport’s most famous events.  In fact, we just heard the Indigo Girls playing there last week!  In the winter this area is turned into an outdoor, family ice skating rink.

Bringing a group to Newport?  The Yachting Center offers a waterfront private event facility that is perfect for a dockside wedding or corporate clambake.  Their stunning views are sure to WOW your guests.
