12 Meter Yachts Doing What They Do Best...Racing!

Yesterday was a beautiful Sunday afternoon for 12 Meter Racing!  With little to no wind all morning the breeze came up just enough for our 3:00pm departure.  It was an America's Cup 12 Meter match race with 1958's Columbia pitted against 1970's Heritage.  With 12-15 sailing enthusiasts aboard the racing began!  After the two leg race Columbia came out on top winning the day's regatta.  Don't worry Team Heritage - there will be a rematch!

Check out these great shots by Suzanne Manchester.  Join us for our another 12 Meter Racing Experience, open to the public, on September 15 or September 22 from 3:00pm to 5:30pm.  Have a private party or corporate group?  We offer racing charters for groups.  12 Meter Racing is a Newport experience not to be missed!
