Newport's America's Cup World Series Recap
July 1 - America's Cup World Series Finals
Super Sunday brought exciting racing to the final day of Newport's America's Cup World Series. The results both on and off the race course are in and the America's Cup World Series was a huge success in Newport! Can't wait to have America's Cup Racing back in Newport again, perhaps 2013?
Draper’s Luna Rossa Piranha won the final fleet race on Sunday. The win gave them the Newport
Fleet Racing title over ORACLE TEAM USA SPITHILL.

In the Match Racing finals it was an all American Final. After a fantastic start, Coutts lead Spithill the entire race and, surprisingly, won the Newport Match
Racing Championship. “It’s been quite a while since I’ve won anything,” Coutts joked with his crew
as he crossed the finish line.

It was all about Oracle Team USA on Day 2 of America's Cup World Series racing in Newport! On the second day of racing in Newport, Oracle Team USA Spithill continued their winning streak winning the Fleet Race.
The match race semi finals were dominated by TEAM USA making it an all America's Final on Sunday. Stay tuned, the competition at the America's Cup World Series in Newport is just heating up!

From Land: The Fort Adams America's Cup Race Village is the best place from land. General admission tickets during race days (June 28 – July 1) are $10 per person per day, with children 12 and under free. Parking at the Fort is $20 during race days or you can hop on Oldport Marine's water taxi from downtown Newport.
From Afar: Watch the racing live from Newport on the America's Cup YouTube Channel and the Racing Finals will be broadcast live on NBC on July 1. Here is the link for Day 1 of the racing!

America's Cup Race Village Opens in Newport
The America's Cup World Series Race Village opened today, Saturday, June 23 at Fort Adams in Newport. The America's Cup Village will be open June 23-27: 11am-5pm; June 28 – July 1: 11am-7pm. Here is the map of the race village.
America's Cup racing will begin on Thursday, June 28 and will finish on Sunday, July 1. For more information visit the America's Cup website. Don't miss this opportunity to see America's Cup racing in Newport, Rhode Island!
