Columbia Wins in Nantucket!

Columbia once again defeated her competition in Nantucket!  Last Thursday and Friday America's Cup winner, Columbia, competed in the 2013 Nantucket Regatta.  In the two day regatta there were four races.  Columbia got two bullets, a second, and a third.  This speedy performance made her the Nantucket Traditional 12 Meter Regatta Winner for the second year in a row.  Go Team Columbia!

Columbia Hits the Road!

Under blue skies and fair winds Columbia left Newport harbor Wednesday morning!  For the next 10 days she will be on the "road" racing in Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.  First up is the Edgartown 12 Meter Regatta.  Then, she will island hop over to Nantucket for the Nantucket 12 Meter Regatta.  Finally, she will compete in the 41st Annual Opera House Cup.  Sail fast TEAM COLUMBIA!

Columbia Winning in Nantucket

Check out this coverage of the 2012 Nantucket 12 Meter Regatta.  Columbia dominated the traditional 12 Meter fleet winning three out of four races and taking the 2012 trophy.  This video shows the Columbia team sailing to victory!

Heritage Crosses the Line Ahead in Nantucket!

It was a beautiful, sunny sailing day yesterday for Nantucket's 40th Annual Opera House Cup.  Team Heritage was speedy, as usual, and crossed the finish line ahead of all the 12 Meters!  Here's a great shot of Captain Jeff leading US 23 over the line.  Great work Team Heritage!

The best news of all?  Columbia and Heritage will be sailing back to Newport today!  Don't let summer slip away; join us for a 12 Meter sail!

Opera House Cup Racing in Nantucket

Team Heritage and Columbia have their game faces on and are ready to race in today's 40th Annual Opera House Cup in Nantucket.  Will one of their names make it on the OHC Winning Wall this year?  Stay tuned for racing results.

Team Heritage Gets Race Ready!

Heritage gets ready to race in Nantucket!  Getting the race sails loaded and spin pole on board, the Heritage team was busy this week getting ready to rumble in Nantucket.  US 23 and crew will head to Nantucket on Friday where she will join Columbia who sailed there earlier this week.  Both Columbia and Heritage will be completing in the 40th Annual Opera House Cup on Sunday.  Good Luck to our 12 Meter Teams!
