October is our last month of sailing for the season in Newport, Rhode Island!  Sun, wind and the occasional dolphin sighting make October a wonderful month to come aboard our 12 Meter yachts.  Check out these photos from October 1 last year. Welcome Aboard October - Hungry Anyone?

Think October means all the outdoor fun has ended?  Not in Newport!  This weekend kicks off a month full of great waterfront events in the city-by-the-sea. From wschnitzel to lobster bisque, October weekends in Newport will offer guests fall foods and fun by the harbor!

October 6 and 7 - Newport's International Ocktoberfest

October 13 and 14 - Bowen's Wharf Seafood Festival

October 20 - Newport Food Truck Festival

October is also our last month of 12 Meter sailing in Newport for 2012 so we are packing in as much time on the water as we can.  Come join us and check out these great October events in Newport.  Winter is long...don't miss the boat!

Dolphins Racing Heritage!

Yesterday, during Heritage's first sail of October we had an unexpected race.  Not your typical race against another sailboat, Heritage was racing dolphins!  

While sailing north of the Newport Bridge in Narragansett Bay, Heritage was greeted by a school of dolphins.  Check out these amazing pictures Captain Duncan took of Heritage sailing with the dolphins.  Another UNFORGETTABLE day of 12 Meter sailing in Newport!

Celebrate October in style at the Newport Yachting Center this weekend, October 8-10.  Newport's Ocktoberfest offers the best in German entertainment and cuisine.  So grab a schnitzel, raise a stein and join in the celebration of Fall!
