Classic Newport Yachting Weekend - GO Columbia!

Our America's Cup Winner, Columbia, will be racing with the classics this weekend in Newport.  She will join over fifty boats for the Museum of Yachting's 33rd Annual Classic Yacht Regatta this Labor Day Weekend.  Columbia is the returning champion, having won the 12 Meter Class in 2010 and 2011.  Will she be able to defend her title?  Stay tuned for results.  Good Luck Team Columbia!

Columbia Winning in Nantucket

Guests aboard Heritage yesterday evening were treated to an amazing Newport sunset!  It was a vibrant, red sunset that really made the old sailor's saying come to life - "Red skies at night sailors' delight..."  Don't you just love Newport in the summertime?

Heritage Crosses the Line Ahead in Nantucket!

It was a beautiful, sunny sailing day yesterday for Nantucket's 40th Annual Opera House Cup.  Team Heritage was speedy, as usual, and crossed the finish line ahead of all the 12 Meters!  Here's a great shot of Captain Jeff leading US 23 over the line.  Great work Team Heritage!

The best news of all?  Columbia and Heritage will be sailing back to Newport today!  Don't let summer slip away; join us for a 12 Meter sail!

Columbia Wins in Nantucket!

Columbia stunned her competition in Nantucket!  Last Thursday and Friday America's Cup winner, Columbia, competed in the 2012 Nantucket Regatta.  In the two day regatta there were four races.  Columbia got three bullets and a second.  This speedy performance made her the 2012 Nantucket Traditional 12 Meter Regatta Winner.  Go Team Columbia!

Team Heritage Gets Race Ready!

Heritage gets ready to race in Nantucket!  Getting the race sails loaded and spin pole on board, the Heritage team was busy this week getting ready to rumble in Nantucket.  US 23 and crew will head to Nantucket on Friday where she will join Columbia who sailed there earlier this week.  Both Columbia and Heritage will be completing in the 40th Annual Opera House Cup on Sunday.  Good Luck to our 12 Meter Teams!

Columbia Wins in Martha's Vineyard!

After the first day of racing at the 2012 Edgartown 12 Meter Regatta in Martha's Vineyard, there was a three way tie for first place.  On day two of racing Columbia sailed away from her competition winning two races and getting second in third race.  Team Columbia's speedy performance on day two made her the winner of the 2012 Edgartown 12 Meter Regatta.  Way to go Team Columbia!  For complete results visit the Edgartown Yacht Club website.
